Cayman Chemical HDAC Cell-Based Activity Assay Kit, 96 Well
Cayman’s HDAC Cell-Based Assay Kit provides a robust and easy-to-use platform for studying HDAC activity modulators in whole cells. By using a cell-permeable HDAC substrate, the activity of various lysine-specific protein deacetylases can be measured in intact cells in a simple and homogenous manner. The fluorescence of the deacetylated reaction product can be analyzed using a fluorometer with an excitation wavelength of 340-360 nm and an emission wavelength of 440-460 nm. An HDAC inhibitor, trichostatin A, is included for checking specificity of the HDAC reaction. This assay parallels Cayman’s HDAC Activity Assay Kit (Item No. 10011563), which uses a nuclear extract rather than whole cells for the assay. Together, both assays will help identify potential inhibitors/activators of HDAC enzymes.
Montana Molecular Borealis Arrestin GLP-1R Assay - 10mL
Measure arrestin signaling kinetics in real time with the live cell, fluorescent Borealis arrestin - GLP-1 Receptor (GLP1R) assay. Add the unmodified GLP-1 receptor and Borealis sensor to cells and measure robust signals the next day on an automated plate reader or fluorescence imaging system. This assay is genetically encoded and packaged in BacMam for efficient transduction in most cell types - including uniform and near 100% efficiency in HEK293 cells as well as expression in many primary or iPSC-derived cells. The kit includes the arrestin sensor BacMam, GLP1R BacMam, GRK5 BacMam, 500mM sodium butyrate in H2O, and a positive control receptor and agonist (AT1R BacMam and 5mM Angiotensin II in H2O). Borealis kits for several other receptors are also available, and larger-sized kits are available on request. Other Montana Molecular tools including the cADDis cAMP sensor can be used alongside this assay.

Tribioscience’s Tyrosinase Activity Assay Kit provides a simple, sensitive assay for the measurement of tyrosinase activity in biological samples. In this assay, tyrosinase catalyzes the conversion of a phenolic substrate to a Quinone intermediate, which reacts with a probe forming a highly stable chromophore with absorbance at 510 nm. The assay can detect as low as 30 µU Tyrosinase in biological samples.
